Hi my name is Alec. I love sport and especially soccer. Outside school I play for a club called Easten Suburbs and every Saturday I play other clubs. I have three brothers and two half sisters. There names are Michael, Paddy, Craig, Amelie, and Pippa.


Here is a moment in time that I wrote recently in class about our Year 6 camp. Year 6 camp was awesome.




I love reading books. Here are some books I would recommend to boys and maybe girls.

One series I would recommend is the Percy Jackson books. I know most of you have read the series but if you haven't I would read them. Percy Jackson is about a boy called Percy and his friends who have to stop Lord KRONOS!!! And they have to save the world partly. The next series I would recommend is for boys. The series is about a boy called Alex Rider who goes on different missions to try to save the world. So both of these series are about saving the world. These books are really good. Peace out.

Last term our topic was Responsibility. We learned a lot about the topic Responsibility because we have a lot of responsibilities here like road patrol, librarian and school council. In term 1 we went to camp. Camp was AWESOME!!! At camp there was different activities but my group didn't do stack'em. Also in Term 1 we did Waterwise. At Waterwise we practice sailing and kayaking. Waterwise was on a Friday and is also in Term 4. So that is what happened in Term 1.

So far in term 2 we have done a lot of things. Such as our circus workshop. In our circus workshop George, our teacher Mrs Winstone's brother, taught us circus tricks. Some tricks we learned were miming and slapstick. Our topic this term is Change. For change we have been learning about the marine environment. Such as we have been learning about the albatross.





This term we have done Circus Workshop. For Circus Workshop we learnt to do circus tricks.

Here is also my I am a soldier poem which I did in class. The I am a soldier poem is based on Anzac Day and what happened in Flanders Fields.

A Soldier

I can smell the smoke flying out of the fires.
I can smell the dry whiskey being drunk by brave men.

I can hear the screams coming from the men who did there duty.
I can hear galloping horses stumbling across the trenches.

I can see the red blood dripping off the faces of the dead.
I can see the mud that are in the trenches.

I can taste the gunpowder exploding from the deafening guns.
I can taste the smoke reaching for the sky.
